Copthorne Hotel Slough-Windsor

I suppose I'll start with the bad before getting to the good of the review. At first glance the room was very clean, however upon closer inspection there were long dark hairs on the 'clean' towels, a short dark hair underneath the duvet. And while I understand you don't expect guests to move furniture- when I moved the sofa to access a plug socket closer to the bed, I found old toe nail clippings and a used condom wrapper, so it's quite clear that staff do not regularly clean behind or under furniture. The evening meal options while very generous portions are in my opinion overpriced for what you do get, the breakfast buffet however was excellent quality and well worth the money- some of the best scrambled eggs I've had. The staff were excellent, very friendly. And the atmosphere was very comfortable. It unusual that you have to pay a seperate charge to use the pool, but I've noticed more hotels doing this as of late. The location is ideal for places like Legoland. Overall I would stay again, I'd just make sure to properly inspect the room before getting settled in

Nice in general, reception staff are very helpful, cleaning staff come into rooms regardless of "refresh room hanger" or no hangers displayed. Pool not available, food and beverages are very expensive for what you get. Beds are comfy, bedding is reasonably clean, kettle is tiny for a 2 person never mind a 4 person sharing room. Gym is minimal. Parking is reasonable for the area. Close to amenities such as laundrettes and supermarkets. In general tries to be upper level but is mediocre

Had a good visit again. The pool being out of use was annoying but needs to be sorted :) All the staff were very friendly and partially Yza at the lobby bar. Nice to have a friendly welcome everyday. Also please install plugs next to the bed :) also down duvets instead of synthetic would be a nice upgrade.

I had a blast! It was my birthday and my room was upgraded. Stayed for three days, and everything is on point. Staffs are all friendly. Love the breakfast buffet and dinner at Bombay Pavillion is a must. Definitely worth the stay and would love to stay again whenever I'm in Windsor.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars Title: Loved my stay – especially the amazing Indian restaurant! I stayed at this hotel for two nights and absolutely loved it. Everything was smooth and hassle-free, from check-in to check-out. The room was spacious, clean, and really comfortable – exactly what I needed for a relaxing stay. The highlight, though, was the Indian restaurant on-site. Honestly, it served the best curry I’ve had in a long time – full of flavour, perfectly cooked, and really authentic. Even if you’re not staying at the hotel, I’d recommend visiting just for the food! The location was also great – well connected and easy to get around. All in all, a brilliant stay. I’d definitely return!

Stayed here for three nights to attend a wedding. Great customer service, staff were very helpful. Rooms were fine but could have been cleaner. The bathroom needs a little attention and updating. There were no herbal teas or decaf although we asked for them. Had a nice meal in the restaurant on the Thursday night. Great location for the wedding and managed a visit to Cliveden and Windsor on our way home.

I stayed over the weekend with a friend and it was a very pleasant experience! Our Club room was upgraded to a Suite upon arrival and we were met with great service from the beginning. I believe the man on the desk was called 'Ahmed'. He was polite, friendly and helpful and gave us both all the information we needed. We were lucky enough to be able to check in early too! The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and great facilities. Breakfast had plenty of options and overall it was a positive experience and we would stay again. A nice touch for the club/suite rooms would be a couple of bottles of water, but that is my only comment :) Thank you Ahmed and team!

We travelled a long journey and arrived quite early for check-in, all tired and desperately needing the toilet. The gentleman at the reception was so kind and allowed us to check in early such a relief after a tiring trip. The stay itself was nice and comfortable. However, breakfast used to include pancakes and sadly they’re no longer available, which was a bit disappointing. The shower could also be improved, especially the nozzle that switches from tap to shower it would be great if this worked more smoothly. Check-out was pleasant, and Simky at the reception was incredibly kind and friendly. The hotel staff were incredibly nice, inclusive, and considerate. Ahmed at the check-out counter also was especially kind, even though we had already checked out and had nowhere to pray, he arranged a room for us to use. His thoughtfulness truly made our experience memorable. Highly appreciated! Overall, a good stay with lovely staff, and with a few improvements it could be even better.
